MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or other related science. Must possess a State of Florida Professional Geologist license and a minimum of three years of experience in groundwater modeling and/or evaluation of environmental impact, aquifer characterization, geological formations, or strati graphic profiles are required.
RECRUITMENT NOTES:This position discusses necessary plan changes for approval and advises architects, engineers, and contractors on required modifications.
Additionally, incumbents in this position are responsible for evaluating environmental impacts, characterizing aquifers, analyzing geological formations and strati graphic profiles, and applying fate and transport statistical methods.
Furthermore, this role identifies potential chemical contamination, bacteria, and pathogens, generating and evaluating data on background soil and groundwater concentrations to support risk-based corrective action decisions.
This position is eligible for a $480.75 bi-weekly pay supplement that equates to approximately $12,500 annually over a 26-pay period cycle.
