Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL. As a government guard, you will monitor and patrol designated locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour

• Wed: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Thu: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service, perform security-related procedures, and respond to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and problem‑solve.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report concerns.
• Maintain visible presence to deter incidents.
• Operate communication devices to coordinate with Allied Universal and site personnel.
• Complete accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Follow site protocols, including firearms use for armed posts.
• Assist with access control, verify credentials and grant entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old.
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
• Baton certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
