Security Officer Armed Credit Union Patrol in Miami, FL serves and safeguards clients in financial institutions and other industries. Learn more:  As an armed patrol professional at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and deliver strong customer service and clear communication.

Pay Rate: $21.62 / Hour

What You’ll Do and Schedule

• Wednesday: 08:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• Thursday: 08:00 AM – 05:30 PM

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services environment.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
• Control access at designated posts by verifying identification, managing visitor processing, and monitoring restricted areas per post orders.
• Prepare clear written reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and handle issued equipment and firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable regulations.

• 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be 21+ years of age (required for armed roles).
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law;
  Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
