Security Officer - Armed Clinic Patrol, Miami, FL (Part-Time).

Pay Rate: $18.74 per hour.

Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving techniques, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with medical staff and/or local law enforcement.
• Complete accurate reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, including security-related observations, patrol findings, and follow-up actions.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
