* ** Security Custom Protection Officers** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a commercial building, office setting, or plaza. They provide access control and patrols while remaining visible and display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

** Pay Rate: $23.50/per hour*

* ** Full Time: (8:00pm-6:00am)*

*** Must have (No Exceptions):*

** Active driver's license*
* +  
** Valid Florida Security License D License and G License*
* ** and at least ONE of the following:*
* +  
** U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or*
* +  
** Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or*
* +  
** Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice (120 College Credits)*
* ** Requirements:*
* + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles

+ Required Valid Florida Licenses:  
** Driver's License, Security Class D and G License*
* + Possess a high school diploma with  
** one
* * of the following to be considered for this role:

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* + Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons.

+ Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.

+ Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

+ Monitors closed circuit television systems and alarms;
Reports safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.

+ Maintains awareness and familiarity with the site-specific operations performance manual and post orders.

+ Meets and continues to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Armed Security Officers and specific protective device and weapons qualifications.

+ Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests.

+ Answer questions and assist guests and employees;
Answer phones or greet guests/ employees in a professional, welcoming manner.

+ Patrols the facility on foot or in a vehicle.

+ Could be required to work for multiple clients at multiple locations; covering special projects, call offs, vacations, and open shifts
