Cargo Sec Agent-Screener

Description

All security officers will be screening cargo using various screening methods; inspecting credentials; and may need to inventory equipment.

Candidates must be willing to work any schedule with possibility of alternating shifts.

• Screen cargo using various screening methods.
• Inspect everyone’s credentials before allowing them into the warehouse; inventory equipment.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Complete forms and documents and prepare daily reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Answer questions and assist passengers and employees.
• Remain flexible to ever‑changing environments; adapt well to different situations.
• Perform air‑side driving and escort.
• Other tasks as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid Security D License.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• All Security Officers must be U.S. Citizen.

• Must have security experience or demonstrated relevant skills.

• Ability to speak and understand English professionally.
• Must be able to pass all pre‑requisites to obtain SIDA badge.
• Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment.
• Ability to work in a teamwork environment and delegate tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company grooming/uniform policy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and report to work on time.
• Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
