You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and strong customer service. Part Time Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; observe for unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate promptly with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor processing, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to post orders.
- Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs and incident reports; follow all required protocols for carrying, handling, and maintaining assigned equipment.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge OR associates degree or 60 college credits OR police academy certificate OR corrections academy certificate.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
