This is a part-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. As a Security Guard with General Patrol Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets. Day-to-day duties include access control and screening, patrolling designated areas, monitoring for any suspicious activity, providing customer service, and responding promptly to incidents. Additionally, you may perform security checks, assist with managing personnel access, and support with escorting high-value cargo and individuals when necessary.
Qualifications- Proficiency in physical security, personnel security, and private security practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with team members and clients.
- Customer service experience to assist guests, passengers, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to pass a rigorous background check, including a 10-year FBI fingerprint check, Security Threat Assessment (STA), and drug tests.
- Relevant certifications or training in security practices, including Department of Homeland Security certifications.
- Physical fitness and ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in aviation, seaport, or commercial security is preferred but not required.
