Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Lobby Monitor Driver in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be a calm, customer-focused presence that helps to deter unwanted activity while supporting building operations.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. At Allied Universal, you act with integrity and deliver through teamwork.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific access procedures and security-related protocols for a commercial real estate office location.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building entry points from the front desk, help to deter unauthorized access, and notify appropriate personnel when suspicious or policy-violating activity is observed.
  • Manage visitor processing including greeting, identification verification as required, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests to approved destinations in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal supervision, building management, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports and front desk logs such as visitor activity, incidents, and tenant requests, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Have 5+ years of security experience.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
