As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. You will document observations, assist staff and visitors, and coordinate with local responders as needed.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.

+ Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal protocols, applicable laws, and site procedures while maintaining proper weapon retention and control.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordination with public agencies, and timely notification to site leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Complete written reports and logs for security-related incidents, patrol activity, and notable observations, and support access control measures such as checking identification and monitoring entry points as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
