Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver

Allied Universal - Up to $22.26/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed, and coordinating scene control until relieved;
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, screen for prohibited items per site policy, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and key control logs;
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, and communicate noteworthy events to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives
