The purpose of this position is to support the administration of Baptist Health South Florida and its divisions by ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, guests, and employees, and maintaining the peaceful and orderly operation of business and its facilities.
Estimated pay range: $25.37 - $30.70 per hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications- High School diploma, certificate, GED, or equivalent training/experience.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Florida driver's license.
- Minimum of 4 years of security experience (hospital setting preferred).
- Associate degree preferred.
- Must complete BHSF security training program and supplemental classes within 90 days of employment.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software.
- Must complete Basic Life Safety certification within 90 days from start of employment.
- Perform backup duties to security manager and/or director as required.
