Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials when required, helping to control entry and/or exit activity in accordance with site instructions and posted protocols.
- Support security‑related investigations by observing, reporting, and recording relevant details, while maintaining a professional presence during daily operations and special events.
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
