Security Officer Guest Services Reception in Miami, FL – a Part‑Time position that allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.30 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time:
Tue 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, verify visitor access, issue passes or badges as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and other security‑related events.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support access control, package handling, and other administrative or security‑related duties as assigned.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports related to visitor management, deliveries, maintenance requests, and/or incidents, following Allied Universal standards and site‑specific policies.
- Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
