Miro Security, a hospitality specific Security Company servicing over 20 of Los Angeles' most exclusive luxury and lifestyle hotels, membership clubs, and nightlife venues, is looking to expand into the Miami market. We are looking for an Area Manager to manage multiple properties while looking for new contracts. Salary Range $65-75k
Job DescriptionAs an Area Manager, you will be scheduling, hiring, training, the security teams for multiple unrelated clients.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize Client Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property - Manage Scheduling and Payroll:
Utilize our online scheduling, payroll, and HR platform to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime - Develop Security Teams:
Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations - Incident Response:
Respond to escalated issues and emergencies professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams - Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence:
Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
- Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills
- College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
- Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
- Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
- Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
- Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
- 8 paid holidays annually
