As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol - Evening Shift in Temple Terrace, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with badge checks, directions, and/or escorts as directed by site procedures.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, and/or facility‑related incidents while following Allied Universal standards and post orders.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
  • Ability to meet hospital vaccine requirements is required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
