What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and help to verify identification, credentials, and/or permitted entry in accordance with post orders and government location protocols.
Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and post instructions, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to ride a bike.
Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
