Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed post in accordance with assigned duties and site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate incident, activity, and/or patrol reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, public officials, and/or first responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a corrections officer license.
Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Possess a law enforcement officer license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
