Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will respond to situations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while delivering reliable service in a dynamic public setting.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verifying access permissions and reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel with incident reporting, post orders, and preparedness activities while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic government environment.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
