Job Overview
As a Front Desk Associate, you will work independently and without direct supervision. Your key responsibilities include greeting residents, checking guests and service providers in and out, monitoring emergency response and access control procedures, operating electronic security control systems, and maintaining daily logs, records and forms. You must possess strong communication, telephone and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, able to multitask and react to emergency situations.
YourResponsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and time management skills.
- Monitor the Emergency Response System.
- Greet and direct residents, guests and invitees.
- Control and monitor electronic security systems.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Control access to the building.
- Maintain daily logs, records and forms.
- Resolve and follow up on all complaints and issues.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building.
- Perform other duties assigned by the on‑site property manager.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- College-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Two to three years of related business experience preferred.
- Computer literacy: command of information system hardware and software preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency desirable.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, grasp and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas verbally and in writing.
- Navigate the property/building quickly to perform job functions.
- Complete required forms.
- Work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Respond to emergencies promptly.
