Forward-thinking Infrastructure & Network Engineer that elevates our enterprise architecture and ensures operational excellence across our digital ecosystem. This role is pivotal to maintaining resilience, scalability, and performance within a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, high‑availability network infrastructure across data centers and cloud platforms.
- Lead network optimization, redundancy strategies, and failover planning to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate on cabinet planning, server provisioning, and operational modeling for tech migrations (e.g. Equinix).
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, routing protocols, and segmentation strategies in alignment with security frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Implement and maintain compliance controls (e.g. PCI‑DSS, FFIEC) across infrastructure components.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support growth initiatives, audits, and strategic deployments.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network and infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, and related protocols and technologies.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), cloud networking (AWS/Azure), and on‑prem data center operations.
- Familiarity with cabinet sizing, power distribution, and environmental monitoring in co‑located environments.
- Proficient in network security concepts including IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, and endpoint hardening.
- Experience with automation tools and processes for network and infrastructure management.
- Ability to document procedures, collaborate across departments, and support compliance audits.
- Firewall Administration, Cloud Administration, Routing and Switching, VMWare or similar certifications.
- Prior experience in banking or highly regulated industries.
- Exposure to stablecoin architecture and fintech ecosystems a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
