Suite Security - Event Security

Overview

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Security for the Nu Soccer Stadium in Miami. This position checks bags, enforces access control, and implements policies and procedures for guest and property safety while delivering superior customer service.

• Compensation: $20 per hour

• Must hold a current FL State Security D License.

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry to the venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and .
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at key checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd-control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
• Demonstrate understanding of the policies and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at facility entrances and concourses.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
