Job Title: Flex Agent-Residential Security Agent

Location: Miami, FL

Job Type: On Call/As Needed – Flex agent positions can develop into a full‑time offer with the company.

Compensation: $600/day. Overtime will be paid in accordance with hours worked and state law.

FLSA: Non‑exempt

Job Summary

This is an armed or unarmed Flex RST Agent position supporting Residential Security assignments. Occasional driving is required. Candidates must be comfortable in fast‑paced environments, social settings with high‑profile public figures, and able to jump into action to support teams with little to no training.

Prior RST experience on an embedded team supporting a single client is required. Military or law enforcement experience is relevant and preferred, but does not replace the need for private sector RST experience.

Flex RST Agents support short‑term needs on embedded teams and remain on a roster for deployment as needed. The Global Operations team coordinates with agents to confirm availability and interest in open shifts. Candidates with additional experience and certifications will have greater opportunities.

Duties
  • Ensure overall safety and security of designated principals and properties.
  • Maintain knowledge of baseline principal, property, and neighborhood activities.
  • Monitor property and area via CCTV and physical perimeter checks.
  • Monitor traditional and social media for potential threats.
  • Control access to properties and maintain security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
  • Drive or tail principals or family members.
  • Conduct advance work as needed.
  • Screen and track mail and deliveries.
  • Monitor weather, natural disasters, traffic, public safety incidents, neighborhood watch programs, and current events.
  • Coordinate with site staff to accomplish tasks.
  • Complete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested.
  • Ensure 24/7 readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep.
  • Operate within SOPs and applicable laws.
  • Coordinate with and support the executive protection element of the team.
  • Provide driving and special off‑site assignments/details as opportunities arise.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Travel locally approximately 5 %–10 % of the time.
  • Be flexible and open to overtime shifts, night or day.
  • Multi‑task in fast‑paced environments.
  • Remain vigilant while seated or in a vehicle for extended periods.
  • Act as a proactive problem solver and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Understand latest security camera technology and communication apps.
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Respond via phone, text, and email as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, superiors, peers, vendors, and neighbors.
Position Qualifications, Certifications and Licenses
  • 2‑4 or more years of combined security, military, and/or law enforcement experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED for adult, child, and infant certification.
  • Current Florida Class D & G Guard Card.
Physical Requirements
  • Patrol property and access areas quickly.
  • Capture and detain individuals if necessary.
  • Prolonged sitting (≥ 5 hours) at a desk monitoring equipment.
  • Prolonged standing (≥ 4–5 hours) without breaks.
  • Lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Lift, drag, or move a human up to 200 pounds or more.
  • Be able to bend, twist, stoop, and crawl.
  • Respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations.

  • Completed residential security or executive protection courses.
  • Attendance at recognized EP school (e.g., ESI, EPI, PFC, ITG4, TFTT).
