As a valued team member with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting cruise operations by monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help create a secure environment for guests, staff, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, respond to incidents as needed, and assist with access control and badge verification.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
