Part Time Pay Rate: $19.83 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
