Overnight Security Officer

YVE Hotel Miami seeks an Overnight Security Officer to safeguard guests, staff, and property during overnight shifts. Responsibilities include patrolling hotel interior and exterior areas, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding promptly to incidents or alarms, and enforcing safety, emergency, and visitor policies. The officer will document events, support guest inquiries with a calm, professional demeanor, and collaborate closely with front desk and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of hotel property overnight
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels
• Respond quickly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
• Enforce hotel safety, security, and visitor policies and procedures
• Document incidents and prepare clear, accurate security reports
• Assist guests and staff with directions, escorts, and safety concerns
• Collaborate with front desk and operations teams to support guest experience
• Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed
• Perform periodic checks of doors, locks, and restricted areas
• Support evacuation and emergency response protocols as required
