Security Officer

Allied Universal seeks a part-time Armed Security Officer to protect client sites through professional patrol, access control, and incident response. In this field-based role, you will conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols, monitor entrances, verify identification, and enforce site policies while delivering strong customer service. You will respond to alarms and emergencies, document incidents, and partner with law enforcement when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols of assigned client properties
• Monitor access control points, verify identification, and enforce site rules
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, de-escalating when possible
• Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security breaches
• Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and public safety agencies
• Follow post orders, company policies, and legal/security regulations
• Participate in required firearms, safety, and security training
• Maintain professional appearance and readiness of assigned equipment
