Position Location: This role supports our Miramar, FL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Miami, FL area.
Our Service Specialists perform assigned tasks on automation systems, including service agreement maintenance, projects, and on-call (time and material) service. They respond to emergency service calls as directed during regular hours and after hours as needed, providing the face of Siemens and engaging customers to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities- Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
- Collaborate with internal service team members such as Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
- Follow safety requirements and complete all required training.
- Adhere to mandatory policies, procedures, and standards; coordinate with contractors on job sites; maintain tools and test equipment.
- Participate in after‑hour on‑call rotations and respond to service calls (emergency and on‑site).
- Perform repairs and maintenance on all automation system types.
- Document service tickets and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
- Generate reports within Siemens tools and maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding system operations and assist with training.
- Identify and report system discrepancies, suggest upgrade opportunities, assist in pricing of repairs, and perform system checkout and startup on projects.
- Work overtime when required; the compressed schedule may require extended hours to meet commitments.
- Participate in job site final walks and system–to–service turnover on assigned jobs.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
- Electro‑mechanical experience or relevant education and PC/software skills.
- Willingness to work in diverse conditions, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, high‑lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, and above‑ceiling spaces.
- Ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
- Specialized skill training or certification.
- Additional years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
- Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations.
- Engineering or programming (PLC or BMS) background.
- Familiarity with building system communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP.

Pay Range: $49,195 – $84,334 annually. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget, candidate experience, and geographic location.
