Duration: 12 Months
Work Mode: Onsite Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, maintain, monitor, and adjust HVAC systems to stay within allowable parameters.
- Perform preventive maintenance repairs for HVAC systems, heat exchangers, chiller pumps, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, plumbing systems, and building automation systems.
- Provide direction and training to less experienced maintenance technicians.
- Plan, select, and lay out required materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.
- Work from building drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, job layouts, and verbal instructions.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, equipment, and lift equipment for operations.
- Generate requisitions for new supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Two-year technical degree or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Experience working on mission-critical projects.
- Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations.
- Working knowledge of company systems.
- Use of a variety of hand and power tools or man lift.
- Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
- Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check and subject interview.
- Professional demeanor with honesty and ethics as essential values.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate with professionalism and respect.
- Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
- Knowledge of software systems such as Procore, Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Openness to learning the functionality of a new CMMS system.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
- Physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, including climbing ladders, working in restricted spaces, and lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and special maintenance events as needed.
