Police and Emergency Vehicle Technician (Workshop with AC)
Police and Emergency Vehicle Technician (Workshop with AC) – Strobes – Miami, FL
Regular Employee – Hourly Non-Exempt – $19.00 – $21.00
- Assist lead installers with emergency vehicle builds
- Remove and reinstall vehicle components (bumpers, seats, trim, lights)
- Install push bumpers, cages, lightbars, lock boxes, and interior lights
- Perform basic wiring, including crimping, splicing, and setting light patterns
- Support fabrication and fitment of custom equipment
- Solid understanding of 12V electrical systems
- Experience using hand tools (sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, impact guns)
- Ability to drill, modify brackets, and follow install procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and team player
- Experience in a shop setting (vehicle upfit, stereo install, or body shop preferred)
- EVT or ASE certification a plus
- Hands-on training
