Position Location: This role supports our Miramar, FL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Miami, FL area.

Asa Service Specialist, you will:
- Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
- Collaborate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
- Follow safety requirements, complete mandatory training, and coordinate with contractors on job sites.
- Maintain tools and test equipment, support after‑hours on‑call rotation, and respond to emergency service calls.
- Perform repairs on all automation system types and complete service ticket documentation according to policy.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, generate reports in Siemens tools, and provide instruction to customer personnel on proper system operation and training.
- Identify system discrepancies, suggest upgrade opportunities, assist in pricing repairs and upgrades, and perform system checkout and startup on projects.
- Work overtime and minimal overnight travel as required.
- Participate in job‑site final walk‑throughs and turnover for assigned jobs.
- 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
- Electro‑mechanical experience and user PC/software skills.
- Ability to work in varied conditions, including climbing ladders, working in ducts, roofs, and crawl spaces.
- Ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet, and carry equipment up to 75 lbs unassisted.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Minimum 18 years of age, valid driver’s license with limited violations, and eligibility to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without company sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Specialized skill training or certification.
- 1+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
- Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations.
- Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background.
- Knowledge of building system communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP).

The pay range for this position is $49,195 – $84,334 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
