Field Installer (Tents & Structures)
Are you ready to build massive structures and travel across the country? This entry‑level position reports to a Field Supervisor and focuses on the timely installation of tents, as well as the safe use of tents and related equipment. The role is physical, demanding both strength and stamina.
The Road Life Reality- 80% travel – 2‑3 weeks on site followed by 1 week off at home.
- Company covers all travel, hotels, and provides a daily per diem.
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and able to pass drug, background, and MVR checks (you’ll operate a Company F350).
- Build the big stuff:
Assemble and maintain fabric structures, hard‑side walls, and custom framework. - Master the machinery:
Get certified to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and man‑baskets. - Team up:
Work closely with a Field Supervisor to transform empty lots into functional venues based on CAD diagrams.
- Professional training:
In‑house Tenting 101 and OSHA certifications. - Credentials:
Support to secure a TWIC (Federal Background Check). - The gear:
Access to top‑tier hand tools and heavy equipment.
- Willing to travel for work.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR with a safe driving record.
- 21+ years old for company driving.
- Pass a pre‑employment drug test and background check.
- Basic hand and power tool experience.
- Able to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50+ pounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Construction experience – preferred.
- TWIC card not required but a plus.
- Tenting 101 – The Basics of Temporary Structures (provided in house).
- General construction site safety – OSHA Basic Plus.
- Federal background check – TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- OSHA operators training on all‑terrain vehicles (forklifts, platforms, man lifts, scissor lifts) – Sunbelt, United.
$18.99 – $27.30 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
