Appliance Repair Technician

Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self‑motivated, customer‑oriented person to work as an Appliance Repair Technician. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing Miele domestic premium appliances at customer locations.

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Miele equipment using factory training, service manuals, and computerized tools.
• Lay out and adjust equipment, including plumbing, gas, and electrical connections.
• Install and instruct customers on proper use of equipment.
• Organize and maintain company‑provided vehicle and tools.
• Complete all service calls and warranty documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain required parts inventory by ordering replacement parts and conducting inventories as needed.
• Maintain delivery truck in safe and working order.

• 100% local daily travel required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Basic math skills.
• Read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
• Multi‑tasking ability.
• Professional, team‑player attitude.
• Ability to manage difficult customer situations.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑oriented with excellent communication.

Generally works in customers’ homes; may be exposed to extremes of temperature, humidity, wetness, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals. May walk on slippery or uneven surfaces, climb stairs, and work off elevated surfaces. Occasionally uses protective equipment.

• Ability to sit, walk, crawl, stand, squat, kneel, and frequently bend or twist neck and waist.
• Use hands repetitively, perform fine manipulation, and push/pull/reach above and below shoulder level constantly.
• Lift, pull, and push products up to 50lb frequently, up to 100lb occasionally, and carry items up to 6ft occasionally.

$50,000 to $69,000 annually plus bonus. The range is a guideline and may not reflect the exact offer.
