Role Description

The Field Service Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role located in south Florida. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pumps, blowers, and related heavy equipment at customer locations and in the shop. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and minor electrical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment is returned to safe, reliable operation. The Field Service Mechanic will document work performed, maintain service records, and communicate clearly with customers and team members about findings, timelines, and recommendations.

The role requires daily travel.

Qualifications
  • Heavy equipment experience with pumps, blowers, hydraulic and electrical systems, or similar industrial machinery.
  • Maintenance & repair abilities covering mechanical systems, component replacement, and basic electrical familiarity.
  • Preventive maintenance skills, such as inspections, scheduled servicing, and proactive part replacement.
  • Troubleshooting skills to diagnose performance issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles as required.
