Job Description

NCW is looking for Electricians and Mechanical maintenance techs working on an active copper mine fully permitted through 2039.

Essential Requirements (non-negotiable)
  • Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
    Maintain, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical equipment, including AC motors, power distribution systems, substation maintenance, etc.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance are key here. Electricians with only new construction electrical experience are NOT qualified. Electricians with only residential experience are NOT qualified
  • Experience in order of preference:
  • Open pit mining experience (Processing/Plant side) we do not have drag lines in the pit.
  • Heavy duty industrial experience (steel mills etc.)
  • Commercial experience (maintenance and troubleshooting existing operations, NOT new construction)
