Maintenance Manager

Job Title and Location

Maintenance Manager – Opa Locka, FL (Supply Chain Solutions)

• Exempt position
• Salary paid twice per month
• Annual salary: $95,000–$101,000 based on experience
• Day shift schedule

• Repair all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to ensure uninterrupted services and operations.
• Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install and repair equipment, and train employees on maintaining machinery and performing trial runs to meet performance rates and quality specifications.
• Manage maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing and electrical servicing.
• Manage facility layout changes, including setting up conveyors, racking, relocating machinery and equipment.
• Ensure safety and security measures are established and implemented.
• Assist with manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose repair needs and troubleshoot electrical circuitry and systems.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to train employees on equipment maintenance.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
• 3–5 years’ experience designing, implementing, and managing a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of schematics, battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, DC controllers, and AC drives for powered lift equipment.
• Knowledge of forklift, order picker, and reach truck repair.
• Rapid conveyor knowledge.
• Proficiency in diagnosing repair needs and troubleshooting electrical circuitry and systems.

• Knowledgeable in equipment procedures and safety measures.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical, motors, hydraulics, and general mechanics.
• Experience with conveyors.
