We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Irrigation Technician. Selected candidates will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to existing irrigation systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, enhancing system efficiency, installing pumps, smart controllers, rain sensors, and Wi-Fi modules. You will also perform wet checks and basic repairs, with plenty of opportunities for learning and growth.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of documented irrigation industry experience and proficiency
- Driver's License with clean driving record
- English required, bilingual a plus
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Details:
Greenstar Irrigation Co. is a licensed irrigation company servicing residential and commercial properties in Miami-Dade County for 40 years. Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $18 to $23 per hour. We pay guaranteed overtime, weekly pay, and offer a fuel allowance and PTO. Technicians can earn between $40,000 and $50,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
The ideal candidate will have irrigation repair experience, be able to work independently, and possess a positive attitude and growth mindset. All employees undergo background and motor vehicle record checks. We maintain a drug-free workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using a wire tracker
- Perform wet checks, reset timers, ensure system performance
- Install irrigation components (pumps, timers, valves, heads)
- Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design
- Replace and rebuild valves and manifolds
- Expand existing systems
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Perform physical labor with tools like shovels and rakes
- Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
