Position Overview

The Window Installer will be responsible for the installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of window systems on commercial and residential projects. This individual will ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, experienced with various window systems, and capable of working effectively in a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and replace commercial and residential window systems according to project plans and manufacturer specifications
  • Measure openings and ensure proper fit and alignment of window units
  • Install frames, glass, hardware, flashing, and sealants to ensure weather‑tight performance
  • Remove and dispose of existing windows and related materials safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation details
  • Ensure installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Perform caulking, waterproofing, and finishing work as needed
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on‑site
  • Identify and communicate project issues or deficiencies to field leadership
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience installing commercial and/or residential window systems
  • Experience with aluminum, vinyl, storefront, curtain wall, impact‑resistant, or other window systems preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Knowledge of flashing, waterproofing, and weatherproofing practices
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Strong understanding of installation methods and quality standards
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights when necessary
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Experience with impact‑resistant and hurricane‑rated window systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
