Field/Service Technician, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are looking for an Aggreko Events Services (AES) Travel Technician I – Power or HVAC, a role critical in ensuring our customers receive reliable electricity, heating, and cooling.

- Part of an elite technician team; work on a wide range of projects from large events to utilities customers to refinery turnaround teams
- Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or OFA systems
- Install and commission for Events Services and other complex projects
- Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Events Services and in the service centers
- Use mathematical formulas to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
- Complete minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets
- Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
- Promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations for safe operation of all equipment
- Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notifications to avoid failures, and ensure compliance
- Able to travel extensively, up to 75%, and be away for extended periods of time
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience working on power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and proficiency in reading schematics
- May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, depending on customer requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
