Technician Events Temp Control

We are looking for an Aggreko Events Services (AES) Travel Technician I – Power or HVAC, a role critical in ensuring our customers receive reliable electricity, heating, and cooling.

• Part of an elite technician team; work on a wide range of projects from large events to utilities customers to refinery turnaround teams
• Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or OFA systems
• Install and commission for Events Services and other complex projects
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Events Services and in the service centers
• Use mathematical formulas to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
• Complete minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets
• Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
• Promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations for safe operation of all equipment
• Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notifications to avoid failures, and ensure compliance

• Able to travel extensively, up to 75%, and be away for extended periods of time
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience working on power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and proficiency in reading schematics
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, depending on customer requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
