The Role
- Undertake civil construction and maintenance activities including concreting, kerb and channel works, stormwater drainage and road maintenance.
- Assist with the upkeep and repair of roadside assets, bridges, pathways, foreshores and reserves.
- Operate and maintain plant, machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and operational requirements.
- Complete daily reporting and documentation while maintaining compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
You are a collaborative team member who enjoys working alongside others to deliver high-quality outcomes and contribute to a positive workplace culture. You bring experience in civil maintenance, construction or labouring environments and enjoy working outdoors on a variety of projects and asset types. You can follow work programs, solve problems on the go and consistently deliver tasks safely and efficiently within required time frames.
You value safety, take pride in maintaining high standards, and are comfortable using tools, equipment and technology to support daily operations.
Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre‑employment medical assessment.

- Pay you 17.5% loading when taking annual leave (4 weeks entitlement per year).
