We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Controls Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Automation Systems (BAS) for commercial and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate has strong experience with HVAC controls, system integration, and customer support, with the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service.

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform startup, testing, and verification of HVAC control systems, including air handling units, chillers, boilers, VAV boxes, and rooftop units.
• Configure and troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, dampers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Diagnose communication issues involving BACnet, Modbus, and other BAS protocols.
• Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequence-of-operation documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and software updates.
• Respond to service calls and resolve BAS and HVAC control issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and customers to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Document service activities, system modifications, and commissioning results.
• Provide customer training and technical support on BAS operation and functionality.

• 5+ years of experience servicing Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls.
• Experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, or Automated Logic.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting commercial building automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical and control schematics.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and communication protocols used in BAS environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Niagara N4, Metasys, or manufacturer-specific BAS certifications.
• Experience integrating third-party devices using BACnet or Modbus.
• Familiarity with energy management systems and building optimization strategies.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus but not required.
