The Slot Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, Florida. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing slot machines and related gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, using hand tools to replace or repair components, and documenting service activities. The Slot Technician interacts with customers and gaming staff to address machine issues promptly, minimize downtime, and provide clear communication about service status.
The role may also involve assisting with equipment upgrades, supporting floor operations, and coordinating with supervisors on priorities and safety practices.
In addition this role will require travel to multiple states in the USA as well as other countries to install machines in casinos and setup for gaming shows.
Qualifications- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills for electronic and mechanical gaming equipment.
- Candidates should be comfortable using Hand Tools and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should have applicable Supervisory Skills or the ability to coordinate tasks and support team workflows when needed.
- Relevant technical experience with slot machines, electronics, or similar equipment is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and adherence to safety and compliance standards is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and lift or move equipment as required.
- A diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in electronics, mechanics, or a related technical field is an asset.
- Candidate must be able to proficiently speak Read wright and speak English.
