Industrial Maintenance Technician

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, thorough knowledge of support equipment, critical and non‑critical equipment components, and equipment operational sequencing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe).
• Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches and brakes.
• Verify and correct mechanical timing.
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
• Identify mechanical wear and troubleshoot and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Identify, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties deemed by management integral to the job, including but not limited to fulfilling work schedules, adhering to attendance policies, and observing all applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
• Possess or attain licenses required by municipal, county, ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and other job‑related equipment.

• At least two (2) years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs or a related field.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/trade school certification or diploma is a plus.

Must be able to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of up to 20 feet, stoop and bend while lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and climb onto and crawl under machinery as required.

Hourly rate: $32.84.
