The Florida Department of Transportation seeks an Automotive Equipment Mechanic II at District Six, North Dade Shop to diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems on automobiles, trucks, heavy equipment, and related vehicles.
You will perform tire work, preventive maintenance, and emergency road-service calls, field test vehicles, document work orders, and mentor junior mechanics. The role requires safety awareness and CDL readiness.
