Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter

Join Sunbelt Rentals as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter. You will design and erect various types of scaffolds, serve as mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Carpenters, and manage a small crew.

• Design and erect scaffolds according to project specifications.
• Lead a crew to erect and dismantle scaffolds on site.
• Coach and mentor Scaffold E&D Carpenters in safe and efficient work practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Maintain knowledge of scaffold materials and loads.

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Scaffold E&D Carpenter or equivalent.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual is a plus.

• Safe and effective management of a small crew for erection and dismantle of scaffolding under the supervision of an E&D Foreman.
• Good knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Understanding of scaffold materials and intended loading to avoid exceeding capacities.

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
