Diesel Mechanic

• Diagnose & repair diesel engines on ready‑mix trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and inspections.
• Repair & replace components such as engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, steering, suspension, and drive trains.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Inspect mixer drums, PTOs, conveyors, and other concrete‑specific equipment.
• Perform DOT and safety inspections to ensure fleet compliance.
• Complete emergency roadside or field repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Keep the shop clean and follow OSHA and company safety procedures.

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy trucks or construction equipment preferred).
• Experience with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, or PACCAR engines highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, electrical diagnostics; welding/fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic reports.
