Apprentice Installation Technician
The Installation Technician is responsible for providing labor services related to performing the physical construction and installation aspects of various telecommunications facilities including DAS, Wi-Fi, Cell Towers, Femto-Cells and Small Cells. The Installation Technician's roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reports to the Regional Operations Manager.
- May be supervised by the Operations Technician or Construction Manager at different assigned projects.
- Provides support for construction needs including but not limited to: cable pulling, connectorizing, mounting equipment, assembling racks, preventative maintenance.
- Provide warehouse support including shipping, receiving, inventory, organization, cleaning, and maintaining appearance of warehouse and office spaces.
- When directed, you must attend required training and must qualify for and maintain required technical certifications for the installation of the various OEM equipment, coaxial and fiber optic cables.
- Conducts all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Performs all other tasks that may be required or requested by their supervisor.
Installation Technicians are required to be familiar with the following technologies:
Microsoft Office Suite of software including but not limited to Mail, Calendar, People, One Drive, SharePoint, Planner, Tasks, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and MS Project. Installation Technicians are also required to become proficient with the Company's Project Management Tools as well as any other technology the Company deploys.
