Team Lead, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

SSP is seeking a Team Lead to oversee field services crews delivering wireless and public-safety communication projects across the Los Angeles area. In this role, you'll coordinate daily FSW activities, ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, engineering, and project management. You'll lead site walks, support equipment installation and testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor technicians.

This position offers hands-on work on mission-critical infrastructure with strong growth potential in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead field services team delivering wireless infrastructure projects for carriers and public-safety clients
• Plan, assign, and oversee daily FSW field activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and customer stakeholders on project scope and timelines
• Conduct site walks, troubleshoot technical issues, and support network equipment installation and testing
• Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians; reinforce SSP's safety-first, team-oriented culture
• Monitor project progress, document work performed, and report status to project managers and leadership
• Ensure compliance with SSP, customer, and regulatory requirements on all job sites
• Support continuous improvement efforts in field processes, tools, and documentation
