Carpenter Assistant

Job Description CASA OH is a high-end wood design studio dedicated to the art of the handmade. At CASA OH, we specialize in bespoke interiors and custom furniture where every joint and finish is crafted by hand—no CNCs, no shortcuts. We believe in the integrity of traditional woodworking and are looking for a dedicated individual to join our shop and grow with us.

The Opportunity – No experience required! We are looking for a motivated entry level member to join our team. The assistant supports the daily operations of the studio by cleaning and maintaining work spaces, offices and bathrooms throughout the warehouses, running errands, loading/unloading deliveries. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and takes initiative. Must be comfortable in a high paced environment.

If you excel in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly under a master builder, gaining the skills necessary to turn raw lumber into functional art.

• Shop Stewardship:
  Maintain a pristine workspace and handle shop errands.
• Deliveries & Installs:
  Assist in the loading and unloading of supply orders, lumber, and large scale finished pieces.
• Growth:
  Transition from assistant tasks to carpentry tasks as your skills evolve.

• Reliability:
  You have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Interest: interest in the craft is a requirement.
• Previous experience in carpentry or furniture making is a plus.
• Grit:
  You’re comfortable with the physical demands of a woodshop (lifting/moving heavy materials) and thrive in a structured M-F, 7:30am–4:30pm schedule.
