This position is within the Property Management division of IRG Realty Advisors and supports our industrial property in the Miami, Florida area. The Maintenance Technician – HVAC & Ammonia Refrigeration offers a unique opportunity to develop specialized skills in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.

Working under the direction of the Operations Manager and Property Manager, this role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of refrigeration equipment while supporting the property's overall maintenance and operational needs. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional looking to expand their skills into industrial refrigeration.

Ammonia refrigeration is a specialized field, and we recognize that many qualified maintenance professionals may not have direct experience with these systems. If you have strong hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, commercial HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, manufacturing maintenance, facilities maintenance, or repairing industrial equipment—and you're eager to learn ammonia refrigeration—we encourage you to apply.

• Assist with the maintenance, inspection, and repair of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and accurately record operating temperatures, pressures, and system performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and longevity.
• Learn to safely operate and maintain ammonia compressor systems, water pumps, evaporator and condenser fan motors, drive belts, direct‑drive systems, and related mechanical equipment.
• Participate in hands‑on training to develop expertise in industrial refrigeration systems and equipment.
